Once upon a time there was a girl and a boy. The girl was the princess of the Clow Kingdom. The young boy traveled with his father from place to place who was an archeologist. Though both of them were from different backgrounds, the one thing that they had in common was that they were very lonely. And it was not a mere coincidence but fate that brought them together. And that’s when their life changed. Sakura and Syaoran became the light in each other’s life.

  They spent their childhood together with fun. Each day that they had was like a treasure. And their bond was so strong that one could feel the other person’s pain. Sakura was a girl who was like the compass and the sounding line of the dark ship in which Syaoran traveled. He had never smiled, well, that was till Sakura came into his life. All the incidents of each day made him realize that his life was worth living. And one thing was sure that the bond they shared could never be broken.

And this special relation that they shared developed into a different one. Love began to blossom from their childhood friendship. Though they never said it vocally, but if eyes could tell, they had said it already. Day and night they thought of each other thinking what the other person was thinking of. Though Syaoran had to travel from time to time their bond remained as strong as ever.

But it was fate, the very fate which had brought them together so willingly, had formed a barrier in their life. Sakura possessed very strong powers which everyone including herself was unaware of. And one night, the very night Syaoran had arrived in the country, a mystical power drove Sakura out of the castle to the mystical place which was recently discovered. And on reaching there, Sakura’s power woke up. Syaoran was able to save her in time while she was falling down. But the damage was already done. Sakura’s precious memories were scattered in the form of feathers to different dimensions. All the times she had spent with Syaoran were gone. The prince Yukito transferred Syaoran and unconscious Sakura to the Dimensional Witch-Yuuko. Syaoran took all the responsibilities of Sakura and did not lose hope because it was Sakura who had taught him to be strong. On reaching the place of the Dimensional Witch, Syaoran met the angry Kuragone and the funny and light-hearted Fye. The Dimensional Witch took the most precious things from each of them which would enable them to travel through dimensions. Kuragone had to give up his sword and Fye gave the tattoo on his back which was the source of his power. And for Syaoran, the most precious thing in his life was Sakura. So he was said that even after Sakura receives all her feathers i.e. her memories, she won’t remember anything about Syaoran. She wouldn’t remember all the precious moments that she had shared with Syaoran. She wouldn’t remember the love that she had for him. But even knowing all that, Syaoran knew that Sakura’s life was more important than anything else. And so he agreed.

And that’s how the epic journey begins. Each time Sakura received a feather with Syaoran and the other twos help an old lost memory would come back in her life. Even the memories which were special because of Syaoran would come back but without the traces of the one because of whom the memory was a treasure to him. Even once when she realizes that Syaoran was once very important in her life, she becomes unconscious and her thought was erased from her memory. She could never remember the memories she had with Syaoran. Memories were back but the person in it was lost…forever.
